Phase 1 of this scheme involved the demolition of two large barns and several smaller outbuildings to make room for the formation of courtyard garden areas. The remaining barns were given new roof structures with beautiful timber trusses by our skilled team, who also installed Velux Conservation roof windows to preserve the character of this old farmyard. The roof slates were reclaimed from the old buildings, and all brickwork was repointed to continue our efforts in protecting the history and feel of the site.

We also oversaw the full groundworks and services to buildings across the site, ensuring smooth operations during this phase of the project and managing multiple contractors throughout. 

Phase 2 of the project saw our team complete the full insulation and stud work of three office units, with interior works finished to a commercial standard, as well as 1st and 2nd fix joinery. This phase also included the full fitting out of the café, a valuable addition to the well-equipped office park. Gains Cross Farm is becoming a fantastic new office location, combining modern facilities with character and rustic charm.
