Antelope Place, Sherborne

Recently, RBW renovated an apartment in a grade ii listed building. A former hotel, the building is believed to have been built in the 18th century, with a brick front added later, and a striking open porch on the front, held by Roman Doric columns.

To enhance the interior space, 2 walls have been moved. Adaptations to the floorplan have allowed for a study, bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, maximising the usability of the space. Despite the challenging layout of this apartment, RBW have made massive improvements to the home, fitting a new kitchen with a pantry and underfloor heating, 2 full bathroom renovations including improvements to drainage, and bespoke cabinetry throughout.

With our range of experienced tradesmen, this project was finished to a high level, with limewashed oak flooring in the kitchen and hall, internal Crittall doors from Salisbury glass. 2nd fix joinery included a bespoke tv unit in the living room and fitted wardrobes and vanity units in the bedrooms. Fully decorated throughout, this apartment is now a modern and stylish home fit for use.
